Joel is a K’iche’ Mayan farmer from Aguacate Village, Toledo.
We are so grateful and lucky to have him as part of our farming family! We asked him a few questions so you can get to know him better!
How long have you been farming for?
I have been farming since I was eleven years old. I used to grow white corn and other plants.
What is your favourite vegetable to grow?
I love to grow sweet peppers.
Why do you love growing organically?
Because it is healthier.
